David Baalmann, MD

Dr. David Baalmann grew up in Colwich Kansas on the family dairy farm as the second youngest of six children. He attended Newman University for his Bachelor’s degree and then completed his medical education at the University of Kansas School of Medicine. He will be completing residency at Via Christi Family Medicine in Wichita in 2024. He will be joining Axtell clinic to provide full spectrum family medicine including pregnancy care and delivery (including c-sections if needed).

Special interests include: natural family planning, pediatrics, obstetrics. He is excited to build relationships with his patients.


Outside of work, he enjoys singing barbershop, playing volleyball, tennis and basketball and hunting in the winter.
