Julia Hemman, MD

Dr. Julia Hemman grew up in rural northeast Kansas before attending Benedictine College where she graduated with a Bachelor’s in Science in Biology. She then earned a medical degree from the University of Kansas Medical School in 2021. She will be completing residency at Via Christi Family Medicine residence in Wichita in 2024. She will be joining Axtell clinic to provide full spectrum family medicine including pregnancy care and delivery (including c-sections if needed).

Special interests include obstetrics, woman’s health including natural family planning, pediatrics, and chronic disease management.
She also volunteers occasionally for Guadalupe Clinic in Wichita.

Outside of work, she enjoys running, cycling, skiing, hiking, and spending time with friends and family. She will be getting married to her Fiancé John in the fall of 2024.
